Mud removal

Fraser Valley clay dries like concrete. We blast it out of tracks, rollers, undercarriages and radiators, even when it's inches thick.

Mud costs you money

Packed mud isn't just ugly. It adds weight, holds water against the steel and wears out the parts it gets into. Leave it long enough and it shows up on your repair bill:

  • Worn undercarriage. Grit packed around rollers, idlers and sprockets grinds them down every time the tracks turn.
  • Overheating. Dirt in the radiator blocks airflow, so the engine and hydraulics run hot.
  • Rust. Wet mud keeps the steel damp long after the rain stops.
  • Hidden damage. You can't see a leak, crack or worn pin under two inches of clay.
  • Fire risk. Dry chaff and debris packed around a hot engine can catch.

How we do it

We break up the worst of the build-up first, in the undercarriage, belly pans and track frames. Then we work through the rest of the machine with hot water. We clean radiators carefully so we don't bend the fins.

We wash in a spot you're happy with, away from ditches, drains and creeks.
