Why hot water?
Cold water just pushes grease around. Hot water softens it so it washes off. That's the difference between a machine that looks rinsed and one that's actually clean, especially around engines, hydraulics and booms.
Hot water also means we need less soap to get the job done. That's easier on your seals, hoses and paint, and easier on the ground.
What we wash
- Construction equipment: excavators, skid steers, track loaders, dozers, backhoes
- Farm equipment: tractors, loaders, sprayers, spreaders and implements
- Trucks and trailers: semis, dump trucks, gravel trucks, flat decks, vans
- Attachments: buckets, drills, forks, mowers and grapples
When it's worth washing
- Before repairs or service. Your mechanic can see what they're working on, and you're not paying them to clean it first.
- Before you sell or return it. A clean machine shows its real condition and looks better in photos.
- Between jobs or farms. Mud and seeds don't travel with the machine.
- Before winter. Don't park it for months with wet dirt sitting on the steel.
What to expect
We show up with the trailer, set up beside the machine and work from the top down. First we soap and degrease the worst spots, then we wash and rinse with hot water. A skid steer or mini excavator usually takes an hour or two. A big excavator with a lot of mud can take half a day.
